Chaplain Lowell Todd officiated. Mr. Ebarb died Thursday, August 7, 1986, in the V. A. Hospital in Shreveport, after a long illness. He was a native of Sabine Parish, and had been a resident of Shreveport since 1953. Mr. Ebarb was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, and the Korean Conflict. He was also past Commander of the D. A. V. Chapter 30, Shreveport-Bossier, and a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Garcie Ebarb of Shreveport; one son, Duane K. Ebarb; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Don Schanks; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Polly Ebarb, Ronnie and Sara Ebarb; and four grandchildren, Angela, Danny, Kevin, and Amanda, all of Shreveport; three sisters, Agnes Hovey of Lake Pierce, Florida, Gearldine Boyett of Silsbee, Texas, and Flora Brown of Zwolle, La.
