All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Johnny Byron Ebarb (Photo) Mr. Johnny (Hart) Byron Ebarb, 54, died Thursday, August 16, at the University of Alabama Birmingham Medical Center, after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brookhaven, Mississippi, with Father Joseph Koury officiating. Pallbearers were fellow members of the Knights of Columbus, Bynum Meeks, Joe Touchard, Nick Battaglia, Tom Corken, Bill Haley, and Ray Marcantel. Graveside services were held Sunday, August 19, at 12 noon, at St. Ann's Cemetery in Ebarb, with Msgr. Norman Buvens officiating. Services were under direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home, and Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Ebarb was a native of Ebarb, and had been a resident of Brookhaven for 31 years. He had retired from Valley Steel Products. He was a cattleman, and an auctioneer. Mr. Ebarb was preceded in death by his father, John J. Ebarb; his mother, Nina E. Burr; a brother, Henry (Mack) Ebarb; and a sister, Cecile Cates. He is survived by his wife, Anna Clothilde Ebarb; two sons, Jason Ebarb of Brookhaven, Mississippi, and Dale Ebarb of Ebarb; one daughter, Cindy Smith of Hamilton, Mississippi; one brother, J. D. Ebarb of Shreveport; and four grandchildren, Amber Ebarb, Cody Ebarb, Justin Ebarb, and Holli Smith. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be missed by all.
