Mr. John Ebarb (Photo)

  Mr. John Ebarb, 83, of Noble died Friday, June 22, 2001 at the
V. A. Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 25, at St.
Ann Catholic Church, with interment following at St. Ann's
Catholic Cemetery. Father Kenneth Williams officiated. Graveside
military services were conducted by DAV Chapter 21.

  He was a World War II veteran.

  Survivors include his widow, Catherine Ebarb of Noble; one
daughter, Ann Rivers and husband John Earl of Ebarb; two sons,
Larry Ebarb and wife Rose Mary of Zwolle, and James Ebarb and
wife Judy of Ebarb; four sisters, Minnie Knight of Ebarb, Nellie
Leone of Zwolle, Aline Gage of San Augustine, Texas, and Shirley
Richards of Houston, Texas; one brother, Tony Ebarb of Converse;
14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.

  Mr. Ebarb was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and
Francis Ebarb; one son, Charles Ray Ebarb; one daughter, Becky
Herbert; and two brothers, Jessie Ebarb, and J. W. Ebarb.
