Levi Hilton Ebarb

  Services were held Tuesday, January 19, 1993, at 11:00 a.m., for
Mr. Levi Hilton Ebarb of Carthage, Texas, who passed away January
16, 1993. Mr. Ebarb was born October 2, 1905, in Zwolle, La. His
parents were the late Wesley Ebarb, and Susan Everitt Ebarb of
Zwolle, La. Jimerson Funeral Home was in charge of services, with
interment at Restland Memorial Park, Carthage, Texas. Officiating
was the Rev. Jerry Burnaman. Mr. Ebarb was a member of the First
Baptist Church of Carthage.

  Survivors include two sons, John Ebarb of Oklahoma City, Okla.,
and Wallace Ebarb of Waterboro, S. C.; three daughters, Hazel
Pike of Carthage, Tex., Margie Finklea of Kansas City, Mo., and
Dorothy Avery of Carthage, Tex.; one brother, Herbert Ebarb of
Shreveport, La.; one sister, Winnie Webb of Noble, La.; eleven
grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

  Mr. Ebarb is preceded in death by a brother, Henry Ebarb of
Many, La.; and a sister, Mrs. Annie Mae Loftin of Evans, La.
