All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Paul Ebarb Paul Ebarb, 74, a prominent Zwolle merchant, and respected Sabine Parish citizen, died Wednesday, April 27, after an extended illness. A rosary was said Wednesday evening, at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Zwolle, at 4 p.m., Thursday, with the Rev. Robert C. Friend officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Ebarb was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a World War veteran, a charter member of the Floyd Jordan Post 172, of the American Legion, and served as a member of the Sabine Parish School Board for 36 years, before he retired. He was recently re-elected to the Zwolle City Council. Survivors are his widow; six daughters, Mrs. Roger Loupe, Mrs. Johnny Boudreaux, Mrs. Theo Ebarb, and Miss Vivian Ebarb, all of Zwolle, Mrs. Daniel Vergas of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Gary Bybee of Portals, N. M.; two sisters, Mrs. George Martinez of Zwolle, and Mrs. Jim Ybarbo of Nacogdoches, Tex.; 17 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
