She was the daughter of Henry Chay and Annie Procell. She was the proud mother of eight children, Jimmy Ebarb and wife Eudora of Ringgold, Roy Ebarb and wife Iris of Crossett, Ark., Annie Jeanette Fuselier and husband Pete of Lake Charles, Randolph Ebarb and wife Bernice of Ebarb, Henry Kenneth Ebarb of Ebarb, Joseph Glenn (Pa) Ebarb (Deceased), Cecelia Beard, husband, and Bob of Vivian, Nancy Henry DeLeo and husband Mitch of Stonewall; grandson, raise as son, Keithen Ebarb of Zwolle; special daughter, Yvonne Britt of Noble; and special Godchild, Debbie Lopez Rivers. She was the sister to Joe Procell (deceased), Virgil Procell (deceased), Monroe Procell (deceased), Frazine Procell (deceased), Herman Procell of Edgewood, Maryland, and Earnest Procell of Noble. A celebration Mrs. Viola Ebarb's life will be held on Friday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m., at St. Ann's Catholic Church. The celebrant was Father Kenneth Williams. Burial followed at St. Ann's Cemetery. Viola was the Godmother to many children, and had from God a special healing for children. She was a retired cook from Ebarb High School, member of St. Ann's Alter Society, and former member of St. Ann's Church Choir. She felt a great honor to have cooked and served dinner for Bishop Greco (deceased), and Father Pierce (deceased). She lived for her God and her children. Viola is the Queen to all her children.
