John W. Everett, Sr.

  John W. Everett Sr., 62, of Hornbeck, died Friday, Feb. 8, in
Byrd Memorial Hospital in Leesville, after a short illness.

  Services were held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 10, in Forest Lawn
Funeral Home Chapel in Beaumont, Texas, with Mr. Joe Moore
officiating. Burial followed in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in
Beaumont.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hattie Everett of Hornbeck;
two sons, John W. Everett Jr. of Maniz, Germany, and Jere W.
Everett of Houston; two daughters, Caren Bryan, and Elise
Beritesch, both of Houston; one brother, Eugene Everett of Hurst,
Texas; two sisters, Ruth Greene of Hurst, and Charlene Holmes of
Paris, Texas; and nine grandchildren.
