W. Estes, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clinton Lum, Wednesday of last week, were held at Union Springs Baptist church, near Converse, at 2 p.m. the following Thursday by Revs. Lattimore and Jerry Schmucker. Interment was in Many cemetery under the direction of Drewett funeral home. Aunt Lizzie, as she was affectionately called, was 77 years of age at the time of her death. She was born and reared in Sabine parish and made her home in Many for several years. However, she had been living with her only child who resides in DeSoto parish for the past few years. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Clinton Lum, of Benson; two sisters, Mrs. C. A. Elliott of Shreveport and Mrs. Ludie Daugherty of Converse; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were: Coleman McDonald, J. D. Farmer, J. I. Ford, R. W. Ford, J. L. Ford and H. C. Ford.
