Mrs. Ruby G. Eason

  Mrs. Ruby G. Eason, 62, of Marthaville died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999 at her residence in
Marthaville.

  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26 at Chapel of Blanchard St. Denis
Funeral Home in Natchitoches with interment following at Beulah Cemetery in Marthaville.
The Rev. Jacob Johnson and the Rev. Ray Dyess officiated.

  Mrs. Eason, a native of Alexandria was a graduate of Bolton High School and Northwestern
State University. She was a retired fourth grade teacher for Natchitoches Parish School
Board. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Marthaville.

  Survivors include her husband, Carl E. Eason of Marthaville; two sons, Arthur B. Eason
of Natchitoches and Thomas G. Eason of Marthaville; two sisters, Essie M. Massingill of
Troup, Texas and Vera "Chick" Williams of Henderson, Texas; and four grandchildren. Mrs.
Eason was preceded in death by her son, Stephen W. Eason.

  Pallbearers were Don Winn, Bobby Dean Birdwell, Kenny Rawls, Bob Graham, Demerty
Filostrat, and Charles Arnie. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Fender, Virgil Barnhill,
Charles Davis, Tim Shaw, Donald Graham, Den Graham, and Cliff Massingill.
