Eason 29 Oct 1948 - The remains of Pvt. Hoyt C. Eason, 29, who was killed in Belgium Sept. 4, 1944, were finally interred at McComic cemetery Sunday. Rev. W. M. Greer, pastor Calvary Baptist church, conducted the service at the graveside at 11 a.m. Interment was under direction Massingill funeral home. Members of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars were pallbearers. Surviving relatives include: parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Eason, brother, Frand Edward Eason; sisters, Mesdames Louis Maxey and Charlie Baldwin, all of Many.
