Officiating was the Rev. Leon Williams, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, where Mr. Eagan was a member. Burial was in the Pine Crest Cemetery in Mena, Ark. Mr. Eagan died at 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, at Highland Hospital, following a short illness. He was 89. Born in Converse, Mr. Eagan had resided in Shreveport for 58 years. He worked for Ark-La-Gas Refinery in Bossier City for 20 years, and was a retired Civil Service Employee at Barksdale Air Force Base. He was a member of Booth Masonic Lodge, and a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ola Wallace Eagan of Shreveport; three sisters, Beulah Neal of Mansfield, and Lucy Sherwood, and Nannie Cox, both of Converse, and one brother, Luther Eagan of El Dorado, Ark.
