Officiating was Rev. Earl Marr, and assisting was the Rev. Bob McCullough. Burial was at Fisher Cemetery in Fisher, La. The body lay in state at the Alford Heights Baptist Church until time of service. Mrs. Eason passed away, February 8, 1989, at 4:45 p.m., after a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of Florien for her entire life. Mrs. Eason was a housewife, and a member of the Alford Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Eulas Eason of Florien; one daughter, Marie Rutledge of Bossier City; four brothers, Emmett Manasco of Many, Ruben Manasco of Florien, Claudie Jones of Shreveport, Clarence Jones; four sisters, Wessie Smith of Flora, La., Gladys Sanders of Many, Dorothy Smith of Flora, La., and Elsa Raye Sandel of Florien; one step sister, Lener Townsen; two grandchildren, Annette Littlejohn of Bossier City, and Ronnie Turner of Florien; two great grandchildren, Robbin Turner, and Chane Turner; and a host of nieces, and nephews, and friends. Pallbearers were Darrell Manasco, Charles Masters, Rodney Sanders, John Ruben Manasco, Robert Lester, and Wayne Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Johnnie B. Craig, and the staff of P & S Hospital, who assisted her during her illness.
