Mrs. Helen M. Eicher

  On Jan. 31, 1994, at 10:15 p.m., Mrs. Helen M. Eicher, 71, of
DeRidder, La., passed away, at Beauregard Nursing Center in
DeRidder, La.

  She is survived by her husband, John E. Eicher, DeRidder, La.;
two daughters, Johnnie Fay Linder of Hickory, North Carolina, and
Sueann Rodriguez of DeRidder, La.; two sisters, Shelby Lucille
Russell Rutherford of Fisher, La., and Kirby Ann Russell Hayes of
Florien, La.; one brother, Rev. Bill Russell of Fisher, La.; 11
grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by two
brothers, Clinton, and Sid Russell.

  Mrs. Eicher was born in Many, La., and has been a lifelong
resident of DeRidder and Florien areas.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 5, 1994, at 3 p.m., at
Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, La. Mrs. Eicher was
buried in Fisher Cemetery, Fisher, La., with Rev. Carry Dale
Ladner officiating the services. Visitation was held at Hixson
Funeral Home in DeRidder, La., from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday,
and 8 a.m. to service time Saturday.
