All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Monroe Ezernack Funeral services for Monroe Ezernack, 53, of Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Bossier City, were held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 18, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, with the Rev. Patrick Scully, pastor, officiating. burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery in Zwolle, under the direction of Boone funeral Home of Bossier City. Mr. Ezernack died Sunday, Nov. 16, at 1:10 p.m., in the nursing home, after a short illness. He was a native of Zwolle; a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, and a disabled veteran. Surviving are his widow, Myrtis Ezernack of Houston; father, George W. Ezernack of Zwolle; stepmother, Mrs. Matilda Ezernack of Zwolle; seven sons, Monroe Ezernack Jr. of Houston, Tex., Joseph Ezernack of Ft. Riley, Dans., Lee Ezernack, Steve Ezernack, Dennis Ezernack, and Kenny Ezernack, all of Bossier City, and Randy Ezernack of San Diego, Calif.; six daughters, Rhonda Ezernack, Faye Ezernack, and Kay Ezernack. Mrs. Martini Lopez, and Mrs. Betty Hamiter, all of Bossier City, and Mrs. Mary Lopez, Houston, Tex.; two brothers, Andrew Ezernack of Shreveport, and Abram Ezernack of Zwolle; five sisters, Mrs. Selena Vines of Converse, Mrs. Josie Ferguson of Mansfield, Mrs. Florence Sepulvado of Zwolle, Mrs. Bertle Hembree of Odessa, Tex., and Mrs. Gladys Layfield of Haughton; a stepsister, Mrs. Thelma Small of Many; and 21 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dalton Ezernack, Raymond Ezernack, Gerald Ezernack, Wayne Ebarb, John R. Huckaby, and Edwin Ezernack.
