Alfred Edison Ezernack, Sr.

  Services for Mr. Alfred Edison Ezernack, Sr., 59, of Leesville,
were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 16, at St. Michael's Catholic
Church in Leesville. Father Russell Lemoine officiated. Burial
followed in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville, under the
direction of Hixon Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Mr. Ezernack, a native of Zwolle, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 1989,
at his residence. He was retired from the U. S. Army.

  He is survived by his wife, Iva Frances Ezernack of Leesville;
four sons, Danny Paul Ezernack of Newport, Ark., Allen Ray
Ezernack of DeQuincy, La., Alfred Edison Ezernack, Jr. of
Woodlawn, Tenn., and Timothy Burl Ezernack of Leesville; one
daughter, Janet Marie Harden of Lyons, Ga.; eight brothers,
Julius Ezernack of Arlington, Texas, Nathan Ezernack of
Natchitoches, Mark Ezernack, and Joe Ezernack of Zwolle, Marion
Ezernack of Lucedale, Miss., Dexter Ezernack of Shreveport, and
Francis Ezernack of Lake Charles, La.; one sister, Myrtle
Martinez of Leesville; five grandchildren.
