Surviving relatives are his wife, Lela Ezernack of Zwolle, La.; six sons, Dalton Ezernack, Eugene Ezernack, Edwin Ezernack, all of Zwolle, La., Raymond Ezernack, James Ezernack, both of Noble, La., Gary Wayne Ezernack of Conroe, Texas; two daughters, Glynda Ann Meshell of Zwolle, La., Janice Roberts of Many, La.; stepmother, Matilda Ezernack of Many, La.; six sisters, Selena Vines of Converse, La., Josie Ferguson of Bossier City, La., Bertie Hembrey of Odessa, Texas, Florence Sepulvado of Zwolle, La., Gladys Layfield of Haughton, La., Thelma Small of Many, La. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Ezernack; and two brothers, Andrew, and Monroe Ezernack; and one granddaughter, Sharon Ezernack Remedies. Funeral services were held on November 24, 1993, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, at 10 a.m., with Father Danny Walsh, and Father Ken Williams officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph's Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Dalton Lamar Ezernack, Billy Ezernack Jr., Tommy Ezernack, Joey Dean, Jared Meshell, Jeffery Ezernack.
