All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Matilda Meshell Ezernack (Photo) Funeral services for Mrs. Matilda Meshell Ezernack, 95, of Many, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 24, 1997, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Zwolle. Officiating was Father Ken Williams. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home. Mrs. Ezernack was born in Zwolle, on Dec. 15, 1901, to Francis and Susan Leone Meshell, and passed away on Friday, Feb. 21, 1997, at Toledo Nursing Home in Zwolle. She is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Ezernack; one brother, Alfred Meshell; four sisters, Mary Armstrong, Elva Crnkovic, Lucy Lopez, and Mattie Ebarb; three stepsons, Abram Ezernack, Monroe Ezernack, and Andrew Ezernack. Mrs. Ezernack is survived by one daughter, Thelma Small (husband Jimmy) of Many; five stepdaughters, Selena Vines of Converse, Josie Ferguson of Bossier City, Florence Sepulvado of Noble, Bertie Hembree of Odessa, Texas, and Gladys Layfield of Haughton; two sisters, Viola Ezernack, and Lela Ezernack of Zwolle; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers were Edwin Ezernack, Virgil Ezernack, Raymond Ezernack, Danny Lopez, Patrick Ezernack, and Jerry Ezernack.
