Mrs. Lela Meshell Ezernack

  Mrs. Lela Meshell Ezernack, 80, died Thursday, July 2, at Willis
Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 4, at St.
Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, with interment following at St.
Joseph Church Cemetery. Father David Richter, and Father Kenneth
Williams officiated.

  Survivors include six sons, Dalton, Gene, and Edwin Ezernack,
all of Zwolle, Raymond, and James Ezernack, both of Noble, and
Gary W. Ezernack of Conroe, Texas; two daughters, Glynda Meshell
of Midland, Texas, and Janice Roberts of Many; one sister, Viola
Ezernack of Zwolle; 27 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; two
great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and
friends. Mrs. Ezernack was preceded in death by her husband,
Abram Ezernack; one granddaughter, Sharon Ezernack Remedies; one
brother, Alfred Meshell; five sisters, Mary Armstrong, Matilda
Ezernack, Lucy Lopez, Elva Crnkovic, and Mattie Ebarb; and
parents, Thomas Francis Meshell, and Susan Leone Meshell.

  Pallbearers were Jerry Ezernack, Patrick Ezernack, Gerald
Ezernack, Danny Lopez, Jimmy Small, and Mickey Crnkovic. Honorary
pallbearers were her grandsons.
