Ezernack, 73, of Mansfield, were held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 17, 2002, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mansfield. Officiating was the Rev. Edmond Niehoff, pastor of St. Mary's of the Pines Catholic Church in Shreveport. He was assisted by the Rev. Oliver Cagle, pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Mansfield. Burial followed at Grove Hill Cemetery in Mansfield, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Mansfield. Mr. Ezernack was born in Zwolle, and died Saturday, June 15, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center. He worked in maintenance, with the DeSoto Parish School Board, and was a devoted husband and father. Henry never met a stranger, and was amiable and friendly to everyone, and ready to assist anyone in need. He was an active participant in church affairs, serving many years as usher and cross bearer. He was a handyman and mechanic, and did many chores for his church. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Mary Edna Ezernack; and his brother, Johnny C. Ezernack. Mr. Ezernack is survived by his widow, Sue Taylor Ezernack; daughter, Debbie Craig and husband Kerwin; two brothers, Jack J. Procell and Edward O. Ezernack; grandchildren, Michael, and Samantha Craig; and several nieces and nephews. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, La.
