Edgar, 51, of Shreveport, died Saturday, April 7, at 5:25 p.m., in her home, after a sudden illness. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, April 9, in the Shreveport chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. The Rev. W. T. Keeling, pastor of the Harvest Time Revival Chapel in Shreveport, officiated. Burial was in Progress Cemetery, near Pleasant Hill. Mrs. Edgar attended the Harvest Time Revival Chapel. She was a native of Pleasant Hill, and had lived in Shreveport 21 years. Survivors include her husband; one son, Jerry Dale Edgar of Shreveport; two daughters, Betty Katherine Edgar of Shreveport, and Mrs. Jerry O. Addison of Houston, Tex.; her mother, Mrs. Martha Bell Graves of Pleasant Hill; a sister, Mrs. Howard Roberts of Lake Vllage Ark.; eight brothers, Luther Graves of Dallas, Tex., Marvin Graves of Houston, Ozel Graves of Shreveport, Thurman Graves and Elton Graves, both of Pleasant Hill, Amos Graves of Bastrop, Homer Graves of Crossett, Ark., and Lloyd Graves of Converse, and four grandchildren.
