The Rev. Bob Gallatas, and the Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Burial was at Highland Cemetery. Mr. Eddington, a merchant in Mansfield for 30 years, died Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 18, 1987, in a Mansfield hospital, after an extended illness. He was a native of Many, and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Brunell Green Eddington of Mansfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianne E. Parker, and Gary W. Parker of Vidalia, La.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Robert Alan Eddington, and Dr. Jeanne F. Eddington of Kenner, La., Mark Randall Eddington, and Pat R. Eddington of Shreveport; four grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Josie Holcomb Eddington of Many; two brothers, Charles W. Eddington of Warren, Ark., and James Rayford Eddington of Many.
