She was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was born on Jan. 6, 1911, in Alto, Texas, to George and Ida Holcomb. Funeral services will be held Dec. 4, at the First United Methodist Church of Many, with interment to follow at Many Cemetery. The Rev. John Koelemay, and the Rev. Mark Bray will officiate. Survivors include two sons, Charles Eddington of Warren, Ark., and Rayford Eddington of Many; two sisters, Helen Gillentine of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Sue Allen of Pearland, Texas; nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Wilmer Eddington; one son, Robert L. Eddington; one grandson, Bruce Eddington; two brothers; and eight sisters. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Dr. Robert A. Eddington, Mark R. Eddington, Billy Ray Eddington, Wayne Eddington, Brian Eddington, Steve Eddington, Todd Eddington, and David Eddington. Honorary pallbearer will be her granddaughter, Diane Parker.
