Edmunds, Sr., 58, of Hornbeck died Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, after a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Zwolle. Interment will follow at St. Ann's Cemetery in Ebarb with Full Military Honors. Rosary and vigil were held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Les Fontaine Chapel. Mr. Edmunds was a retired Master Sergeant of the U. S. Army and a Vietnam veteran. Survivors include his widow, Mary E. Edmunds of Hornbeck; three sons, Eugene Miles Edmunds, Jr. of Fayetteville, N. C., Japeth Rivers Edmunds and Toby Rutter Edmunds both of Hornbeck; mother, Grace Marie Rutter of New Castle, Del.; three sisters, Norma Marie Unruh of Fayetteville, N. C., Barbara Starr Lenoir of Bushkill, Pa. and Cheryl Ann Stratton of New Castle, Del.; and two brothers, Norman "Butch" Rutter of Louisville, Ky. and Mack Edward Rutter of New Castle, Del. Pallbearers were Eugene Edmunds, Jr., Japeth Edmunds, Toby Edmunds, Norman Rutter, Timothy Rivers, Roger Rivers, Larry Rivers, Benny Rivers, Terry Rivers and Mike Unruh. Les Fontaine Many, La.
