G. W. Edmondson

  Funeral services for George W. Edmondson, 84, were held at 2 p.m.,
in the Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, with the Rev. Tom Lee, and
the Rev. W. E. Merchant officiating. Burial was in the Beauregard
Cemetery. Mr. Edmondson died Friday, May 7.

  Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Phillips of Many attended the funeral.

  Mr. Edmondson had loaned the Index many "Pictures of the Past",
which have appeared in the paper.
