Mildred B. Edmunds

  Services for Mrs. Mildred B. Edmunds, 61, of Converse, were held
at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 2, at the First Baptist Church in
Converse, with the Rev. Rodeheaver officiating. Burial was in Oak
Grove Cemetery near Converse, under the direction of Drewett
Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Mrs. Edmunds died Monday night, June 29, at a Shreveport
hospital, following a long illness.

  She is survived by her husband, Donald R. Edmunds; step mother,
Mrs. Bessie Flowers of Mansfield; step daughters, Judy Ellen
Edmunds of Santa Ana, Calif., and Penny L. Edmunds of Anaheim,
Calif.; two sons, Morris Rheet Cranford of California, and Carrie
L. Cranford of Cravina, Calif.; six sisters, Madeline Taylor of
Converse, Rose Cline of Long Beach, Calif., Ruth Carpenter of
Orange, Tex., Ouida Kirkham of Shreveport, Lou Ellen Ramie of
Mansfield, and Carolyn Sue Bradshaw of Johnson City, Tenn.; three
brothers, William Barron, and Douglas Barron, both of Long Beach,
Calif., and Gerald Barron of Shreveport; and nine grandchildren.
