All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Andrew Edmonson Funeral services for Andrew Edmonson, 91, of Florien, were held Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1985, at 2 p.m., at the Redland Baptist Church, with the Rev. C. A. Lilly officiating. Burial was in the Negreet Cemetery, under the direction of Thomas Mortuary. He died Friday, Oct. 4, in North Sabine Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill. Mr. Edmonson was a member of Redland Baptist Church, and also was a World War I veteran. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Andrew Mae Drew of Seattle, Wash., Miss Fay Edmonson of Houston, Texas; five sons, I. D. Edmonson of Florien, Andy Edmonson of New Orleans, Ponder Edmonson, Joe Edmonson, and Bobby Edmonson, all of Houston; forty nine grandchildren, seventy great grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren; two nieces; four nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
