James R. Shepherd officiating. Interment followed in New Forest Cemetery, under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. Mr. Edmonson passed away Monday, in Carroll Nursing Home, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ola Edmonson of Forest; two sons, Wayne Edmonson of Forest, and Ronnie Edmonson of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Della Jane Ainsworth of Oak Grove, Mrs. Resa Wingfield of Altus, Okla.; three brothers, Lee Edmonson of Kilbourne, A. H. Edmonson of Homer, and S. J. Edmonson of Many; three sisters, Mrs., Wilma Mobley of Greenwell Springs, Mrs. Lala Bishop of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Frances Brown of Pioneer; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Don Harris, Hatten Tuggle, Bob Sanders, Jack Hamilton, Lavelle Hammett, and Olen Wise. Honorary pallbearers were the adult men Sunday School class of Forest Baptist Church.
