The Sabine Index - Mrs. M. T. Etheridge

  27 Sep 1940 - Funeral rites for Mrs. M. T. Etheridge, age 78 years,
were held at Spring Ridge last Wednesday at 3 o'clock.  Funeral
directed by the Dennis-Green funeral home.

  Active pallbearers were:  Bert Esco, Jereld Etheredge, George
Etheredge, Douglas Etheredge, Conrad Dean and Charles Bozeman.

  The deceased was a member of the Progress Presbyterian church.
Interment was in the spring Ridge cemetery.

  The following children survive B. A. Cargill, Mrs. A. B. Wyatt,
Marshal, Texas; Mrs. Lois Bennett, Longview, Texas; W. L. Etheredge,
New Mexico; Mrs. T. H. Cannon, Mrs. Ike Rains, Mrs. M. B. Gewin, D. C.
and B. G. Etherdge, Pleasant Hill; one brother, W. B. Moore, Houston,
Texas; 35 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
