All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Alice Edwards 25 Aug 1933 - Miss Alice Edwards, 27, died in a Shreveport sanitarium Friday morning after an illness of only a few days, and was buried at Noble at 10 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. R. T. Ware, officiating, interment in the Noble cemetery. The pallbearers were W. O. Roberts, A. M. Helm, J. J. Mulloy, Dewey Jones, S. F. Brown and Reuben Latham. Surviving the deceased are: her father, J. E. Edwards, Gandy; two sisters, Mrs. S. E. Tooke, Gandy, and Mrs. H. H. Whitley of Shreveport; six brothers, L. G., J. C., and C. E. Edwards of Noble, Sheriff E. L. Edwards of Many, G. W. Edwards of San Marcus, Texas, and E. F. Edwards of Converse.
