Etheridge 3 Feb 1939 - Funeral services were held for A. G. Etheredge, age 59, Monday afternoon at the Methodist church here with Rev. L. N. Hoffpauir assisted by Rev. J. B. Williams. Rev. Wright of the First Baptist church of Natchitoches read the scripture lesson. Mr. Etheredge was born in Conecuh County, Alabama, but his parents moved to Sabine parish when he was a small infant. He moved from here sev3eral years ago, making home in Cypress and Bunkie. He was an employee of the Texas & Pacific railroad. At his death he was being teated in the Texas & Pacific hospital at Marchall, Texas, where he died Saturday, Jan. 28. He leaves a wife; one daughter, Miss Dorothy Etheredge of Natchitoches; two sisters, Mrs. J. L. Snell of Many and Mrs. Joe Ryan of Cedar Grove; one neice, Mrs. Carl Kelly of Cedar Grove, and one nephew, Emmett Snell of Many. There are a number of other relatives in Many and other points of Sabine that ill miss Mr. Etheredge.
