Mrs. Gertie Edwards

  Mrs. Gertie Lee Edwards, 78, of Florien, died in Bossier City on
Monday, March 3, at 10:30 a.m.

  Mrs. Edwards is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eva Hill,
Oklahoma City, Okla.; one son, M. H. Edwards, El Dorado, Ark.;
one half sister, Mrs. Lloyd King, Florien; two half brothers,
Willis McDiarmid, Warren, Ark., and L. W. McDiarmid, El Dorado,
Ark., 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 4, at 3 p.m., in
the Gandy Baptist Church, with the Rev. Marvin Brown officiating.
Burial was in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
