Edwards, 61, of Robeline, died Monday morning, April 2, at his residence, after a long illness. The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, in Beulah Methodist Church in Robeline, with the Rev. Eddie Edwards officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edrie Edwards of Robeline; three sons, Rayburn Edwards of Seattle, Wash., Charles A. Edwards of Coushatta, and Dennis A. Edwards of Prairieville; three daughters, Mavis Brandow of Raceland, Linda Hatfield of Alexandria, and Susan McClamroch of Shreveport; two stepsons, Billy Weeks, and Jimmy Weeks, both of Robeline; three stepdaughters, Barbara Weeks of Robeline, Lynn Ingram of Marthaville, and Sue Marbut of Geneva, Ala.; and four sisters, Dottie Belving of Hot Springs, Ark., Thelma Gentry, and Tip Vernon, both of Crawford, Miss., and Ellie Davis of Oak Grave.
