Josephine T. Edwards

  Josephine Torres Edwards, 95, of Natchitoches, died Friday,
Sept. 7, in an Alexandria hospital, after a long illness.

  Services were at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 10, in Blanchard-St.
Denis Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ronald Nation
officiating. Burial followed in Rachel Cemetery near Marco.

  Survivors include six sons, Marshall Edwards of Natchez,
McKinley Edwards of Irving, Texas, Joseph Edwards, and Johnny
Edwards, both of Natchitoches, Willie Edwards of Bellview, Ohio,
and the Rev. Eddie Edwards of Robeline; five daughters, Lottie
Roberts of Winnfield, Rose Maggio, and Angela Niette, both of
Natchitoches, Angie Prodhomme of Natchez, and Jessie Howard of
Provencal; one sister, Dallie Benoit of Thibodaux; 44
grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren.
