Venessa Florence Edwards

  Funeral services for Mrs. Venessa Florence Edwards of Many, were
held Thursday, Sept. 29, 1983, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church
of Many. Interment was at Many Cemetery. Bro. Joe Ratcliff
officiated. Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons, Dr. Tripp Edwards,
Nicholas Roy Gyles, Dr. Randy Hudson, Kirk Hudson, Dr. Eugene
Hunt, Daniel Mixon, Michael McKinney, and Dr. Kenneth Ramsey,
Mrs. Edwards is survived by two sons, Eustace L. Edwards of Many,
William F. Edwards of Inverness, Fla.; four daughters, Winonah E.
Pettit, Alachua, Fla., Louise E. Lockwood of Many, Judy F. Hudson
of Lake Charles, Yvonne F. Gyles of Fayetteville, Ark.; 13
grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
