Link Edwards

  Funeral services for Link Edwards were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday,
in Almonville Baptist Church, with the Rev. A. L. George
officiating. Burial was in Flatwoods Cemetery, under the
direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

  Edwards, 72, of Flatwoods, died at 5:40 a.m., Sunday, in
Veteran's Administration Medical Center, Pineville.

  He was a native of Flatwoods, and a retired carpenter.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Peggie Edwards of Flatwoods;
one daughter, Mrs. Brenda Northern of Marthaville; three sisters,
Mrs. Mertie Bennette of Flatwoods, Mrs. Daisy Housler of Houston,
and Mrs. Lou Hebert of Gorum; two brothers, James Edwards of
Gorum, and Roge Edwards of Pineville; and five grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Levell George, A. J. Bennette, Leonard
Bennette, James Bennette, George Bennette, and Ray Setliff.
