Ellzey, 82, of Many died Dec 25 after an extended illness. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Sudie Ellzey of Many; a son, Loren Ellzey of Memphis, Tenn.; six daughters, Mrs. W. A. Hayes of Cuero, Tex., Mrs. Lois Brown of Hornbeck, Mrs. J. C. Leach of Baton Rough, Mrs. Ed Kieszek of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. M. V. Hayword of Alvindale, Ariz., and Mrs. E. C. Schneider of Albuquerque, N. M.; three sisters, Mrs. C. N. Watts of Natchitoches, Mrs. L. C. Dowden of Anacoco, and Mrs. H. T. Isgitt of Converse; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Toro Baptist Church in Florien Dec 27, with Bro. F. M. Belsha and Bro. J. C. Leach officiating. Burial was in Toro Cemetery under the direction of Warren Madows Funeral Home of Many.
