All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Sudie Ellzey Mrs. Sudie Ellzey, 87, of Hornbeck, died in the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Many on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 2 a.m., following an extended illness. Survivors include one son, Loren Ellzey of San Antonio, Tex.; six daughters, Mrs. Faye Hayes of Cuero, Tex., Mrs. Lera Brown of Hornbeck, Mrs. Ruth Kieszak of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Ruby Hayward of McLeonboro, Illinois, Mrs. Bertha Leach of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Elouise Schnider of Albuquerque, N. M.; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Keuhn of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Eva Holms of Phoenix, Arizona; 29 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m., in the Toro Baptist Church. Officiating was the Rev. Glenn Flenniken. Burial was in the Toro Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Gerald leach, Ralph Brown, Elmer McInnis, Gary Leach, Bill Taylor, and Jerry Dowden.
