John Tulane Ellis

  Services for Mr. John Tulane Ellis, 83, of Hornbeck, were held
at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 28, at the Hornbeck Methodist Church.
Burial was at Beckom Cemetery in Hornbeck, under the direction of
Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Mr. Ellis died at 4:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 1987, at Bossier
General Hospital in Bossier City, La.

  He is survived by three daughters, Miss Helen V. Ellis of
Bossier City, Mrs. Clara Alford of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Ruth Allen
of Deansboro, N. Y.; one sister, Mrs. Leona Plott of Shreveport;
six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
