Tillman Hampton Ellis

  Mr. Tillman Hampton Ellis, 83, of Hornbeck, died Jan. 18, 1987,
Sunday, At 4:20 a.m., at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in
DeRidder, after a lengthy illness.

  Services were held Monday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m., in Hixon's Chapel
in Leesville, with Rev. Doug Hilton, and Rev. Doyle Carpenter
assisting. Burial was at Self Cemetery in Hornbeck.

  He is survived by his wife, Essie M. Ellis of Hornbeck; two
sons, Dewey Ellis of Leesville, and Rupert L. Ellis of Kountze,
Tex.; one daughter, Juanita Hilton of Hornbeck; one brother, John
Ellis of Henderson, Tex.; two sisters, Kate Herring of Leesville,
and Jewell Hennigan of Beaumont, Tex.; twelve grandchildren; and
thirteen great grandchildren.
