Masonic graveside services were held in Old Union Cemetery near Benson, La. on Sat. July 30, 1988 under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Mansfield. Mr. Ellzey had retired from Gulf Oil Company where he worked in the Southern part of Louisiana. He was a Baptist, and had lived in Converse for the past eight years and before moving to Converse was the owner of Bob's Marina below Many. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason. Survivors include his wife, Annie Bell Ellzey of Converse and several nieces and nephews.
