John Leon Ellzey

  John Leon Ellzey, 74, died April 1, 1993. He was a charter
member of Plainview Baptist Church in Hornbeck.

  He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ellzey of Houston, Tex.;
daughters, Joann Crain of Dallas, Tex., Teresa Null of Humble,
Tex., Donna McCullah of Houston, Tex.; sister, Alice Jones of
Many; brothers, W. M. Ellzey of Milam, Tex., Huey Ellzey of
Beaumont, Tex., Victor Ellzey of Hornbeck, Teddy Ellzey of
Hornbeck, Koy Ellzey of Leesville, Bruce Ellzey of Richmond, Va.,
and Carroll Ellzey of Florien; numerous nieces and nephews.

  Services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 3, 1993, in Brookside
Funeral Home Chapel of Chimes. Officiating was Rev. Bill
McDaniel. Burial was held in Brookside Memorial Park.
