All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Dorris Leo Royston Ellzey Dorris Leo Royston Ellzey, 69, a native of Natchitoches Parish, and a resident of Robeline, died at 11:45 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 1994. Funeral services were April 22, at 10 a.m., at the Central Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Orvis William Ellzey Sr.; her father, Leo H. Royston of Natchitoches; three sons, Orvis William "Bill" of Houma, Mark Dennis of Hammond, David Keene of Crossett, Ark.; one daughter, Mary Anne Russell of Zwolle; two brothers, Hugh Royston of Lumberton, Miss., and Kenneth Royston of Houma; two sisters, Dorothy Schneider of Baton Rouge, and Frances Dupont of Thibodaux; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Collins Royston; and one sister, Jean Royston Ballintine. She was an active member of Central Baptist Church, the Los Adaes Foundation; and a retired school librarian. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Los Adeas Foundation in Robeline, the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, or the Gideon Bible Foundation.
