Ellzey Funeral services for Mrs. Henry S. Ellzey, 82, of 3275 Lancaster St., Shreveport, who died Saturday in Schumpert Sanitarium, following a lingering illness, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, in Rose-Neath Chapel. The rites were conducted by the Rev. W. R. Stowell, pastor of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Interment was in Forrest Park. Mrs. Ellzey was a widow of the Rev. Henry S. Ellzey, former pastor of the Southside Baptist Church. She was a native of Florien, and had resided in Shreveport for the past 44 years. Survivors include two sons, Ben F. Ellzey of Spokane, Wash., and Vaughn H. Ellzey of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence R. Pugh, and Mrs. Thomas E. Owens, both of Shreveport; and eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
