Elliott, 43, traveling salesman for Kelly, Weber & Co. of Many, died in a Shreveport sanitarium at 1 p.m. Friday after an illness of two weeks. Funeral services were conducted in Shreveport from the residence of Mrs. Docia Harris, at 2:30 p.m. Monday by the pastor of St. Mark's Episcopal church Rev. James M. Owens, rector of Shreveport with burial in Oakland cemetery. Active pallbearers were F. V. Yearwood, Frank Stewart, Freeman Perry, H. M. Weil, J. E. Carmichael and T. J. Creegan. Mr. Elliott was well known in Sabine parish, having traveled out of Shreveport in this territory for many years before becoming connected with the local wholesale grocery when it was organized about five years ago. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Julie Elliott, and two daughter, Anna Dell and Mary Elliott.
