Charles R. Elliott

  Funeral services for Charles R. Elliott, 26, of Noble, were held
at 10 a.m., Monday, in the Noble Baptist Church, with the Rev. C.
Pierce, and the Rev. Charles Duncan officiating. Burial was in the
Noble Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Elliott died in New Orleans, Friday, of an apparent accidental
gunshot wound, when the gun he was cleaning went off.

  Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Otha Elliott of Noble; two
brothers, James Elliott of Houma, and William Elliott of Keithville;
and a sister, Mrs. C. E. Pierce of Stonewall.
