Elliott, 60, of Pasadena, Texas, were held Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 10 a.m., in Holly Springs Cemetery in Coushatta, La., under the direction of Wellman Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Hall, pastor of Crestview Baptist Church of Midland, Texas, officiated. Mr. Elliott, a native of Coushatta, and a resident of Pasadena for 25 years, died Oct. 1, 1983, in V. A. Hospital in Houston, following a lengthy illness. He was a furniture salesman, and a veteran of World War II. He was of Baptist affiliation. He is survived by one son, Danny Elliot of Nacogdoches, Texas; one daughter, Linda Hall of Midland, Tex.; four sisters, Hazel Wright of Ringgold, La., Irma Lou Meacham of Shreveport, Don Bullard of Savannah, Ga., and Billy Jean Lafette of Robeline, La.; three grandchildren; two nieces; two nephews; and one uncle.
