Elliott Funeral services for James Otha Elliott, age 54, were held on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 26, at the Noble Baptist Church, with Rev. C. C. Pierce, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Noble Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home of Many. Masonic rites were conducted at the grave. Mr. Elliott died in U.S. Veterans Hospital in Houston, Tex., on Dec. 24, 1959. Pallbearers were Johnnie Derrick, Leon Campbell, Johnnie Mulloy, Earl Gauntt, Kenneth Brown, and Maurice Thames Jr. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. James Otha Elliott; three sons, James Donald, Charley Roy, and William Elliott; one daughter, Miss Clotiel Elliott, all of Noble; three brothers, Guy Elliott of Noble, R. H. Baumgardner of Shreveport, S. S. Baumgardner of Troup, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. William C. McDonald of Rodessa, Mrs. Wiley Sistrunk of Mitchell, and Mrs. Henry Robinson of Noble. Among the out-of-town relatives attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. William McDonald of Rodessa, Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Sistrunk of Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Baumgardner, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Moss and children of Troup, Tex., Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Walker and children of Blanchard, Mrs. Covin Sistrunk, Mr. and Mrs. W. Sistrunk, Wilmer Sistrunk of Shreveport, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sistrunk of Zwolle; LeRoy Sistrunk of Fort Worth, Tex., Mr. and Mrs. Carl Allen of McComb, Miss., Mr. and Mrs. Edward Elliott of DeRidder, Mrs. George Mooney, and Mrs. Minnie Brown of Zwolle, Mrs. R. T. Fleming, Mrs. Marshall Fleming of Mansfield, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Barrett of Oak Grove, Mr. and Mrs. G. O.
