Eldridge Jr., 21, of Bossier city, died Sunday, Oct. 20, following an accident involving two pickup trucks on U. S. Hwy. 80, about one fourth mile west of La. 164, in Bossier Parish. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Eldridge had lived in Bossier City for 19 years. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam war. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, in Bossier City Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, with the Rev. Billy Pierce of Ford Park Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed in Little Flock Baptist Church Cemetery, near Many. Survivors include his parents, Charles D. Eldridge Sr. of Sigouney, Iowa, and Mrs. Doris Eldridge of Bossier City; one brother, Paul Eldridge of Bossier City; two sisters, Patricia Eldridge of Bossier City, and Mrs. Beverly Frazier of New Orleans; maternal grandfather, A. B. Jones of Many; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Viola Eldridge of Sigouney; and several nieces and nephews.
