All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Liddie Embrey Funeral services for Mrs. Liddie Embrey, 82, were held Sunday, at 2:30 p.m., at Bethsadia Baptist Church near Atlanta, Tex. Burial was in Wye Cemetery. She was a native of Bright Star, Ark., and a former resident of Sabine Parish, having lived at Fisher for a number of years. She was a resident of Shreveport for 21 years, and lived at 200 East 68th St. Mrs. Embrey died Friday at her home, after a long illness. Pallbearers were W. M. Thomas, H. B. Thomas, Frank Pickett, J. S. Pickett, Victor Ray, and G. A. Allen. She is survived by two sons, Dr. M. S. Embrey, and L. P. Embrey, both of Shreveport; three brothers, H. C. Sheppard of Atlanta, Tex., Ben Sheppard of Fort Worth, Tex., and Robert Sheppard of McLeod, Tex.; and three sisters, Mrs. Phillip Massey of Marshall, Tex., Mrs. H. E. Ray of Bivins, Tex, and Mrs. G. A. Pickett of Shreveport.
