The Sabine Index

  Blanche English - January 7, 1988

  Services for Mrs. Blanche English, 78, of Longview, Texas, were
held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, in the Ford Chapel of the First
Baptist Church of Longview. The Rev. Dewayne Beaty and Dr.
Kenneth Hall officiated. Burial was at Memory Park Cemetery in
Longview under the direction of Welch Funeral Home of Longview.

  Mrs. English died Monday morning, Jan. 4, 1988; at a Longview
hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie
English, in 1979.

  She is survived by a son Gayle English of Longview; three
brothers, M. B. Brasher of Bastrop, J. F. Brasher and W. N.
Brasher, both of Monroe, a sister, Verna Phelps of Zwolle; and
three grandchildren.
